We enjoyed the beautiful weather today!! I hope that you are able to enjoy God’s beautiful creation this weekend with your family! Thanks to Mrs. Gregory who subbed today for part of the day for me as I attended an off campus meeting for the Missouri District!
Information for the upcoming weeks:
*Our 3rd Grade Family Night that was scheduled for Sept. 25th has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts. We will look to do this event later on during the school year.
*Book orders are due Sept. 15.
*No school on Friday, Sept. 18th.
What’s on tap for next week:
Religion: We will start a new unit “Holy Spirit Blesses the Church”. We will also do a group art activity with the liturgical colors of the church.
English: Simple/Compound Sentences-Review, Complex Sentences
Reading: Finding the main idea in a selection, idioms, comprehension strategy of backing up and rereading and retell the story, antonyms/synonyms of our Shared Reading story.
Social Studies: Miss Bevirt will talk about countries and states this coming week.
Handwriting: We will start our first cursive letter! 🙂 Lowercase i
Math: We will do Written and Fact Assessment 3, Dividing a Square into 3 equal parts, Identifying thirds, and rewriting numbers by regrouping tens and ones.
Writing: Our personal narrative will be published by Thursday!
