This week in chapel Mr. Braddy reminded us that to be “strong” for God, we continually need to “work out” by reading the Bible, attending church, family devotions, etc. Lots of ways that we can “God strong”!
Information for this week/coming weeks:
*Thank you to Mrs. Phipps, Mrs. Paul, Mr. Sinovich, and Mr. Cooseman for agreeing to chaperone on the upcoming field trip. We will be taking a bus instead of driving cars. Permission slips are in your child’s red folder. Please return the signed 2nd page by Oct. 2.
*This week we decided to host a lemonade stand (maybe you have heard about it from your child 🙂 Your child may purchase lemonade for $.25, $.50, or $1. All money raised this next week will benefit the Clausing family.
*Your child’s most recent AR paperwork is coming home. AR is just one tool that I use when examining the progress that your child is making with reading skills. I will talk to you about what I am seeing with AR, along with other reading skills, at the upcoming Parent/Teacher Conference. Please feel free to email me before we meet for PT conferences if you have any questions.
