This week in chapel, Pastor Rouland led our special Veteran’s Day chapel. We had several Veterans that attended so it was a wonderful way for our class to say thank you to the people who helped give us our freedom!
Information for next week(s):
*Thanksgiving Food Drive: Please bring in any items by Wednesday morning. Student Council has asked that 3rd grade bring in cream of mushroom soup and French Fried Onions.
*Advent parts went home today. Each child will need to have their part memorized for Nov. 30-Dec. 4th Memory Work.
*For the Advent service, your child has the opportunity to play a musical solo during Pre-Service or during the offering. Here are the specifics:
1) Your child must have had lessons for at least 1 year
2) The piece he/she plays must be a religious Christmas piece
3) There will be tryouts on Tuesday, December 1st. Please have your child bring his/her musical instrument to school that day (unless it is piano, we have that at school! 🙂
4) If your child would like to try out, I need his/her name submitted to me by Friday, Nov. 20th.
