This week in chapel, Mr. Jon Bernhardt (Principal at Lutheran High St. Charles) led chapel and reminded us that we have a perfect God who loves us and forgives us even when we are imperfect! What an awesome God we have!!

Information for the coming week(s):
*Thank you for turning in field trip permission slips. Thank you to the following chaperones that will be going with us on the bus: Mr. Mudd, Mrs. Hugo, Mr. and Mrs. Buehrle, and Mrs. Rupert. Your child has the option of bringing money to purchase something in the gift shop after the factory tour. Your child may bring $5 or $10 amount. Also please note that children and adults wlll need to wear closed-toe shoes and no jewelry on the tour.
*Lego Robotics night for our class will be Thursday, March 30th at either 6 or 7 p.m. If you are interested in having your child attend, along with 1 parent, please make sure you sign up on the Google Doc that was sent out earlier this week.
*Early Dismissal is on Wednesday, April 5th. No lunch served that day. .
*6th grade is working with GreenTreePlastics to recycle plastic caps and lids into benches for our campus. See Sycamore for the specific list of lids we can accept to help out the 6th grade!
What we will be doing next week when we return from Spring Break:
Religion: Miracles of Jesus
Math: Keep working on multiplying by 3 facts! We will be telling time to the quarter hour,writing mixed numbers, drawing lines to the nearest quarter inch, start working on multiplying by 4.
Reading: We will start our next non-fiction unit…using text features to help us better understand what we are reading.
Writing: Writing a fable
